Here is my go-to classic Margarita recipe:
3 Limes: juice, 1.5 oz, wedge & wheels for garnish
1 tbsp coarse salt, glass rim
4 oz. of tequila
2 oz. triple sec

Run lime wedge around the rims of glasses and dip rims in salt. Set aside.

In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. Fill with ice and shake until thoroughly chilled, about 15 seconds.

Fill glasses with fresh ice and strain margarita into both glasses. Garnish with lime wheels and serve.
When whipping up these simple concoctions, top-notch ingredients are key. Opt for fresh lime juice, decent tequila (no need for ultra-fancy stuff!), and a well-rounded triple sec like the classic Cointreau.
